Antonio Gibson Works With Backups in Preseason Opener
Washington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson carried the ball four times for two yards along with one reception for two yards in Saturday's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old had a rough start as his second carry resulted in a fumble, leading to him being quickly replaced by Brian Robinson. Gibson's ball security is still an issue, and the coaching staff seems to feel comfortable with what they have in Robinson. There's still time for the third-year back to regain trust, but he may be on his way to losing touches in this backfield. Be cautious when considering him during drafts.
