3 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela picked up the win on Wednesday when he allowed three runs (one earned) on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings in a 6-3 win over the Texas Rangers. This was Senzatela's second deepest outing of the season after working eight innings in his second start of the year vs. the D-Backs. On Wednesday, he gave up an RBI single to Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the first inning but didn't allow another run to come across until the top of the sixth. Kiner-Falefa reached on an error in that frame and came around to score, along with Joey Gallo, off of a Brock Holt RBI double. The 26-year-old ended up scattering seven hits and only allowed one earned run. He only whiffed three batters and has just 34 strikeouts on the season over 58 1/3 innings. This stellar effort lowered his ERA to 4.47 to go along with a 1.41 ERA but his record sits at 2-5. He's got a relatively easy matchup in his next start against the Marlins in Miami.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
