Antonio Senzatela Suffers Torn ACL

2 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela (knee) tore his left ACL when he was forced to exit his start early on Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Senzatela was officially placed on the injured list on Friday and will miss the rest of the season. There's also a good chance that the 27-year-old right-hander won't be ready for the start of the 2023 regular season. He'll finish his 2022 campaign with a 3-7 record, a 5.07 ERA (4.06 FIP), a 1.69 WHIP and an underwhelming 54:23 K:BB in 92 1/3 innings pitched over his 19 starts. Senzatela wasn't much of a fantasy option in mixed leagues and can now safely be dropped by anyone that still had him rostered in deeper formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
