6 years agoMontreal Canadiens goaltender Antti Niemi will be in net against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. Carey Price started on Monday against the Minnesota Wild and will be getting the night off. Niemi has garnered a 6-4-1 record this season, although his 4.01 goals-against average and .881 save percentage leaves a lot to be desired. Luckily, the Red Wings are not the most formidable opponent as they sit 24th in the league in goals per game (2.77). Niemi is a mediocre fantasy play for Tuesday night but can be started if managers are desperate. There are likely better options available.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
