3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes backup goaltender Antti Raanta found himself on the wrong side of a low-scoring affair on Sunday night. He allowed two goals on 26 shots in defeat. The goalie has been mostly consistent in his starts. As a matter of fact, he is allowed no more than three goals in any start. His record dropped to 4-2-1 but his goals-against average and save percentage were helped in the loss a bit. Raanta is a serviceable goalie when healthy that can be a good 1B or backup goaltender.
