5 years agoStewart-Haas Racing's Aric Almirola ended up finishing ninth in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. After shaky 23rd-place finish at Richmond back on April 13, 'The Cuban Missile' has been on a mission, posting seven straight finishes of 17th or better, including four top-10 finishes. He'll look to continue his solid wheel work at Chicagoland next Sunday, a place which hasn't been kind to him over the years. In seven Cup starts he has just one top-10 finish with a 23.14 Average-Finish Position.--Daniel Dobish
