5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Ariel Jurado allowed five runs in four innings against the Astros Sunday. Jurado allowed seven hits and walked four against only three strikeouts in the rough outing. Jurado has had some decent games this season, but they are too few and far between to be a usable fantasy option. His 16.9 percent strikeout rate is near the bottom of starting pitcher ranks and he gives up too much hard contact for someone who doesn't get the strikeouts. Jurado should be on waivers in virtually all leagues when he makes his next start next Saturday against the Astros again.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
