7 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Ariel Jurado will be called up to start on Saturday against the Astros in place of Cole Hamels, who was traded to the Cubs. Jurado made one spot start for the Rangers earlier this year, giving up four earned runs and six hits in 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the White Sox. The right-hander also has a meager 5.1 K/9 in 16 starts for Double-A Frisco this year and is facing a tough matchup in Houston. You should avoid Jurado everywhere this weekend.
