Arizona Places Chase Edmonds On Injured Reserve
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (ankle) has landed on injured reserve due to his high ankle sprain, per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Edmonds was limited to just one carry last week with the injury, but he will now be out of the backfield mix until Week 14 against the Rams at the earliest. Through nine games this season, Edmonds has logged 76 carries for 430 rushing yards and one touchdown, adding 30 catches for 211 receiving yards. Without the 25-year-old, James Connor stands to see an elevated role and likely shifts into permanent RB1 territory for the entirety of Edmonds' absence. Eno Benjamin figures to see his share of carries as well, although he likely remains outside the season-long fantasy picture for the time being.
