6 years agoAtlanta Braves closer Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) is expected to be available to pitch this weekend if necessary. Vizcaino has been off duty since receiving a cortisone shot earlier in the week, as he reportedly felt shoulder soreness that has been lingering since the season began. Management likely thought it would be best to give him ample time to heal without a stint on the disabled list, but it would not be shocking to see him land there in the coming weeks. If he does land on the DL, A.J. Minter and Dan Winkler could see save chances.
