6 years agoYankees closer Aroldis Chapman blew a three-run lead against the Red Sox on Sunday. Chapman left the bases loaded for J.D. Martinez who promptly singled up the middle of the field to drive in two runs, then gave up a bouncer to Xander Bogaerts that was mishandled by third baseman Miguel Andujar. The Yankees high-priced bullpen managed to hold the Red Sox to no runs for three and a third innings only for Chapman to come in and leave the game tied up. Chapman's job isn't in much jeopardy given his track record, but this is his second multi-run game in his last five outings. The Red Sox are one of the best hitting teams in the league, so it's understandable to see a pitcher of any caliber struggle. Expect Chapman to right the ship in his next outing.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
