4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman blew his first save of the season, though he ended up with a win in a walk-off victory over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Chapman got Yermin Mercedes to line out but served up a homer- his first earned run of the season- to pinch-hitter Andrew Vaughn. Fortunately for the hard-throwing southpaw, the Yankees won the game in the bottom half of the ninth, granting him his fourth victory of the season. Chapman still owns a ridiculous 0.47 ERA in 19 innings pitched and should bounce back nicely in his next save chance.--Tim Capurso
