6 years agoNew York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman (knee) threw a 26-pitch bullpen session on Saturday and said he felt fine. He will now throw a simulated game on Monday. Chapman could be cleared to rejoin the bullpen after that if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. The hard-throwing left-hander should then be put back in the ninth-inning role for the Yanks. Relievers David Robertson and Dellin Betances have been sharing closing duties with Chapman out of action.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
