7 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Wilmer Font has been added to the 25-man roster. The A's acquired Font from the Dodgers in exchange for lefty pitcher Logan Salow. Font was designated for assignment by the Dodgers after allowing 13 runs in 10 1/3 innings. He's expected to join the A's bullpen and pitch in low-leverage situations. There is an outside chance he joins the starting rotation going forward. He's not worth an add in any leagues right now. In corresponding moves, the A's optioned pitchers Chris Bassitt and Kendall Graveman to Triple-A.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
