6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's 11-10 victory against the Chicago Cubs. It was a nice opening weekend for Cabrera with his new teammates, collecting five hits over the past seven at-bats with homers in consecutive games. No one is going to forget Adrian Beltre in Arlington anytime soon, but if Cabrera keeps up at this pace he is going to quickly become a fan favorite. He is a great play in AL-only leagues, and those in deeper mixed formats like his for his multiple position eligibility.--Daniel Dobish
