6 years agoNew York Mets infielder Asdrubal Cabrera has struggled a little bit as of late, but he got back on the hit train on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. It may have only been one hit (a single) but beggars can’t be choosers, right? It was Cabrera’s first hit since June 1, and he’s watched his slash line come down quite a bit over the last few weeks. He’s still slashing .286/.328/.498 on the season, but those numbers are a far cry from what they once were. Still, Cabrera figures to be a useful player throughout the season, and unless he’s injured, he should be owned in the vast majority of leagues with his multi-position eligibility.--John Smith
