6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies infielder Asdrubal Cabrera (calf) suffered a Grade 1 strain of his left calf on Monday and will be evaluated on Tuesday. Cabrera was hitless in three plate appearances before leaving this game. While a Grade 1 strain is the least severe, this could still end his season with not many games left. Cabrera has been a strong fantasy infielder this year, hitting .262/.313/.461 with 23 home runs, 67 runs scored and 75 RBI on the year. With Maikel Franco also hurt, the Phils could have to run with a left side of the infield of Scott Kingery and J.P. Crawford.
