3 years agoNew York Yankees pitcher Asher Wojciechowski is expected to be called up Wednesday to make a spot start against the Philadelphia Phillies. Wojciechowski excelled in his most recent outing at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, pitching four innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts and no walks. The 32-year-old has largely been ineffective for the RailRiders this season aside from that outing, registering a 5.68 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 12 2/3 innings. Despite flashing some strikeout ability, Wojciechowski is not a recommended fantasy play Wednesday.--Tim Capurso
