3 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis was recalled by the A's and will be with the team for its game in Detroit on Wednesday. Davis is a fan-favorite in Oakland after blasting 40-plus homers every season from 2016-18, but he's fallen on hard times since the height of his powers. He hit just .200 with a weak .329 slugging percentage across 30 games in 2020 and was let go by the A's in the offseason. Davis began the 2021 season with Texas and batted .157 in 22 games before being designated for assignment. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach to Davis as it's unclear how much playing time he'll get, let alone if he can still produce at the Big League level.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
