2 years agoThe Oakland Athletics released infielder Elvis Andrus on Wednesday. The 33-year-old appeared in 106 games for the A's this season, hitting .237 with a .301 on-base percentage, eight home runs, and seven stolen bases in 386 plate appearances. Andrus also saw the bulk of the team's starts at shortstop this season. Nick Allen has seen the second-most innings at shortstop for Oakland this year.
