2 years agoAustin Dillon is a driver that tends to perform well on shorter tracks such as Richmond. The Richard Childress racer begins Sunday from the 12th position at Richmond. Historically, Dillon and his No. 3 Chevy does have four top-ten results in his last six appearances on the 0.75-mile track. That includes a top-five outcome which translates to an average finish of 10.5. Dillon even has led 2.3% of those laps. Again, that Chevy has run pretty fast which makes his 12th place start far less of a surprise. His practice late-lap intervals did lose several tenths of a second and drop off which is a bit of a concern though.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
