3 years agoAustin Dillon needs some considerable help to make the playoffs. He needs to win or hope he fares well while Tyler Reddick has massive issues or DNF's. Reddick only needs 31 points to clinch a spot if a repeat winner takes the checkered flag. Dillon has won the race in the past in 2018 and finished third in 2021. However, those were the 500-mile versions. This is the summer 400-miler. In three of the last four summer races, Dillon has finished 25th or worse including two DNF's. The Richard Childress Racing driver has to stay on the track and run the summer race like the winter version. It may be his only chance of making the playoff. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
