3 years agoWith just two races left, Austin Dillon needs help to make "The Chase". He is now 28 points behind Tyler Reddick for that final spot. Some think Kevin Harvick is the real target but it is probably the younger Reddick. Dillon does have an average finish of 14.2 in 2021 and that is encouraging. Also, the Richard Childress Racing driver had no chance of avoiding that wreck last week at Indianapolis. That caused him to finish 31st and lose valuable points. Staying on track is essential while improving position at every opportunity. Picking one's spots will be vital for Dillon. Can he do it without causing a worse problem?
