Austin Dillon Needs Good Result At Kansas
2 years agoAustin Dillon needs a good result at Kansas on Sunday. The Richard Childress Racing Chevy starts in 11th position just 0.152 seconds off the pole position time of Tyler Reddick. Dillon has a couple of top ten results on the 1.5-mile intermediate track. The No. 3 car has been oddly consistent at Kansas in his previous four appearances. His results have ranged from 10th to 13th. While that might help his playoff aspirations a bit, it may not be that big of a boost. Either way, Dillon's Chevy may not have the long-run ability to win as he lost a good deal of time in 15-lap and longer intervals (more than a second) in practice.
