6 years agoRichard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon will start fourth in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway after posting a best speed of 182.766 mph on Friday. He also posted an average speed of 179.404 mph on Saturday, good for the second-best 10 consecutive lap average right behind Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch. Dillon has a victory, two top-10 finishes and seven top-20 showings with an Average-Finish Position of 16.3 in nine career Cup starts on the Charlotte tri-oval.--Daniel Dobish
