3 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers are placing running back Austin Ekeler on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. Along with Ekeler, pass-rusher Joey Bosa and center Corey Linsley were put on the list. Ekeler was questionable to play last Thursday with an ankle injury, but he suited up and had a smaller workload in the overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. With the NFL's updated COVID protocols, Ekeler has a better chance of gaining clearance to play on Sunday against the Houston Texans, but fantasy managers will need to formulate backup plans. Justin Jackson, who had a team-high 13 carries for 86 yards with Ekeler limited in Week 15, will be the priority waiver-wire addition this week in case Ekeler can't play next weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
