4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler will have a favorable matchup versus the Denver Broncos in Week 16. Sunday will be Ekeler's fifth game back since returning from a hamstring injury and he has seen between 60%-73% of the carries in that time. The Broncos have struggled against the run this season and are allowing 103 yards on the ground to opposing running backs. They also allowing five receptions and 33 yards per game through the air to running backs and that is where Ekeler is most utilized. Ekeler should be able to provide managers with a strong performance in Week 16 and will carry RB1 status into Sunday's contest.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
