Austin Ekeler Not Expected To Have A Full Workload
3 years agoWhile Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, sources are saying he won't see a full workload. Ekeler is a game-time decision for Week 15, but he's fully expected to be active. How much he actually plays is anyone's guess, but we still think Ekeler should see the majority of LA's backfield work with Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley and rookie Larry Rountree III picking up the scraps behind him. It's not what fantasy managers want to hear on Ekeler with the playoffs starting this week in most leagues, but he should remain in single-year starting lineups. After all, he's the overall RB2 in fantasy scoring through 14 weeks, so he got you here. Stick with him in what could easily be a high-scoring affair.
