3 years agoIt was announced on Monday that the Los Angeles Chargers put running back Austin Ekeler on the COVID-19 list, but it turns out that he wasn't one of the many Chargers players that officially went on the COVID-19 list. There's a chance that Ekeler could pop up on the list at some point this week, but for now, it's great news for his fantasy managers. The 26-year-old do-it-all back didn't have his normal workload last Thursday against the Chiefs after tweaking his ankle the week prior, but Ekeler still managed 12 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown and caught all four of his targets for 23 additional yards in Week 15. Justin Jackson, who had a team-high 13 carries for 86 yards last week, should be added off the waiver wire this week as Ekeler insurance. If Ekeler is good to go for Week 16 in a mouthwatering matchup against the Houston Texans, he'll be an elite RB1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
