3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. There was speculation that Ekeler was going on the COVID list on Monday, but it didn't become official until Wednesday. If he is asymptomatic and returns a negative test before Sunday he can play against the Houston Texans, but fantasy managers need to run to the waiver wire and grab Justin Jackson as quickly as they can. Ekeler has been the second-most valuable fantasy RB behind only Jonathan Taylor this year, so fantasy managers would really be getting screwed in the playoffs if Ekeler cannot clear the COVID protocols. Jackson, who looked great alongside Ekeler last Thursday, would have RB1 upside if Ekeler is inactive and he sees the majority of the backfield touches against one of the worst overall defenses in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
