3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler remains absent from the Week 2 injury report. Ekeler dealt with a hamstring injury in Week 1, but was able to suit up and went for 57 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, but surprisingly wasn't targeted in the pass game. In Week 2, Ekeler will go up against a Dallas Cowboys defense that allowed 3.5 yards per carry in Week 1 and also seven receptions to their opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This matchup projects to be a high scoring affair and managers can expect Ekeler to play a big role on Sunday. Ekeler appears to have overcome his hamstring injury and managers should consider him a RB1 in all formats in Week 2 and moving forward with the fact that he is mostly a one-man show in the Chargers backfield and should soak up catches in the passing game.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
