2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler went for 50 rushing yards, two touchdowns, six receptions and 65 yards in a Week 11 victory versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and will look to continue that success versus a tough Denver Broncos defense in Week 12. The star rusher has been one of the best at his position this season, but will face a tough Broncos defense that has been stingy versus the run game this year and has limited the position to just 92 yards per game. The Broncos have limited six opponents to under 90 yards this season, but have also shown vulnerability with three opponents going for 142 yards or more. They have also allowed just five rushing touchdowns to the position this season and are limiting pass-catching running backs to just four receptions for 37 yards per game. The Chargers lead runner makes his money in the passing game, but should still be a huge part of the offense in a tough matchup on paper. For the season, Ekeler has rushed for 573 yards with seven touchdowns to go along with 45 receptions for 405 yards and six touchdowns. No matter the matchup, managers should feel confident starting Ekeler as a RB1 on a weekly basis.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
