3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) has logged back-to-back limited practices with an ankle injury, but there are no signs that suggest he is in danger of missing a tasty matchup versus the New York Giants in Week 14. The veteran has been stellar this season for managers and will get a Giants defense allowing 105 yards per game on the ground and six receptions for 51 yards through the air to opposing running backs. Ekeler has done it all for managers this season and there is nothing that suggests that will change on Sunday. With Ekeler a little banged up, managers would be wise to consider adding Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley or rookie Larry Rountree III as insurance, but it's hard to recommend one over the other with the Chargers not committing to any of them as the true No. 2 running back. Moving forward, Ekeler remains a RB1 in Week 14 and beyond.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
