3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) should be "fine" after aggravating an ankle injury that put him on the Week 14 injury report, according to head coach Brandon Staley. This is a situation to monitor going into Week 15, as the Chargers have a short turnaround with a game against their divisional rival Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night. By the sound of Staley's comment, it doesn't seem like something to worry about, but fantasy managers should have a backup plan just in case Ekeler isn't able to play on Thursday. If he isn't able to suit up, Justin Jackson and Joshua Kelley would likely see a timeshare based on what we saw in Week 14. Jackson finished with nine carries for 35 yards while Kelley had 10 carries for 33 yards, so the two would be FLEX options at best against an improved Kansas City defense.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
