6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Austin Gomber was sent down to Triple-A Memphis on Friday to make room for shortstop Paul DeJong coming off the disabled list. In 14 1/3 innings at the big league level, Gomber has posted a 3.77 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and a 10:8 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He's a decent prospect but needs to be in the starting rotation to have any kind of fantasy value.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
