6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals rookie starting pitcher Austin Gomber put together his third consecutive quality start on Friday, but it wasn't enough to earn a win. He pitched six innings, allowing three runs on six hits in six innings of work. Gomber has been solid in his first real taste of the big leagues, posting a 2.93 ERA to go with 51 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings. He's worth owning in all formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
