7 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Austin Hays (ankle), who was out for two months with a lingering ankle injury, returned to Double-A Bowie this week. Hays took the time off to refocus mentally and mechanically, and he seems to be in a much better place with his approach at the plate. He's hitting .223 with six home runs, 22 RBI and five steals in 54 games with Bowie and Single-A Aberdeen this year, but he could be a September call-up as the team's No. 4 overall prospect.
