2 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays (side) was out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers due to a sore left side. According to Orioles manager Brandon Hyde, Hays could return to action for Friday's series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates following the team's day off on Thursday. The 27-year-old is slashing .258/.317/.429 with 12 home runs, 47 RBI, 49 runs, and two stolen bases in 96 games in 2022. Hays is considered day-to-day.
