4 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Hays felt tightness in his left hamstring over the weekend and missed Monday's game, though it was believed to be a day-to-day issue. He'll need more time to recover, but it will hopefully be a minimum stint on the injured list for Hays, who has already missed time this year due to injury. The Orioles recalled Ryan McKenna from the minors in a corresponding move. DJ Stewart, who has homered in each of his last two games, should be in line for more playing time.--Tim Capurso
