Austin Hooper A Solid Fantasy TE For Wild-Card Round
4 years agoCleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper finished the regular season on a high note, catching 16 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns over his final three games. He will look to stay hot when he takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Hooper does draw a difficult matchup this weekend as the Steelers were one of the best defenses in the league at covering tight ends during the regular season. Overall, Pittsburgh allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position and their pass defense was ranked first in the league in DVOA. Fantasy gamers participating in playoff contests can treat Hooper as a mid-range TE1 this weekend.
