Austin Hooper Quiet In Cleveland Debut
4 years agoCleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper was quiet in a 38-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. Hooper was targeted just twice, catching both for 15 yards in his first game for Cleveland after joining the team as a free-agent signing in the offseason. More was expected out of Hooper, who wasn't even the most productive tight end on the team as David Njoku went for 50 yards and a score in the loss. Fantasy gamers shouldn't panic just yet as the Ravens have one of the better defenses in the league and quarterback Baker Mayfield was on the run all afternoon, which kept him off rhythm and forced him to rush throws. Hooper will look for a better outing in Week 2 when the Cincinnati Bengals visit Cleveland for the Thursday night game.
