4 years agoCleveland Browns starting tight end Austin Hooper (abdomen) has been ruled out for his team's Week 8 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hooper underwent an emergency appendectomy ahead of his Week 7 contest and will miss his second consecutive game as he recovers. Hooper's absence opens up fantasy value for both Harrison Bryant and David Njoku in a favorable matchup against the Raiders. Bryant caught two touchdowns on four receptions in Hooper's absence last week and Njoku found the end zone once. Fantasy gamers can treat Bryant as a mid-range TE2 and Njoku as a desperation flex option/TE3 for Week 8.--Matt T - RotoBaller
