6 years agoThe Texas Rangers have designated outfielder Austin Jackson for assignment after recently acquiring him from the San Francisco Giants. Jackson will likely pass through waivers as he is still owed $4.5 million for the season. It's unknown if a team is willing to take a chance on him. The Rangers have yet to announce a corresponding move.--Dan Fappiano
