Austin Meadows Homers for Second Consecutive Night
5 years agoAfter a 50-day homer drought, Meadows is back to the guy we saw for the first few months of the season. He's a bit boom or bust against lefties, striking out 30% of the time and hitting three home runs in just 80 at-bats. If Meadows can continue this level of play, the Rays may be able to hold on to the 1.5 game Wild Card lead and at least make it interesting down the stretch. Meadows is obviously back to full healthy and back to being one of the league's top outfielder options on a daily basis.
