5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows, who fouled a ball off his foot on Tuesday, is in the lineup Wednesday as the designated hitter batting third. Second baseman Brandon Lowe is not in the lineup, with Daniel Robertson filling in and batting seventh. Meadows is the only left-handed hitter Tampa Bay is starting against left-handed Oakland Athletics starter Brett Anderson. Anderson has only struck out 4.9 batters per nine innings this season, so plenty of Rays hitters are viable DFS options today. However, Meadows with the foot issue and lack of the platoon advantage is probably not the best choice, and Robertson is hitting too low in the lineup.--Nathaniel Green
