Austin Meadows Isn't In The Lineup Saturday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows isn't in the starting lineup on Saturday for a matchup with the Baltimore Orioles and left-hander John Means. Meadows is hitting .236 with a .323 on-base percentage, 21 home runs, and three stolen bases in 498 plate appearances this season. Randy Arozarena will be starting in Meadows' place in left field and batting leadoff. There's a good chance Arozarena is rostered in your league, but if you're looking for a streaming option from Tampa Bay's lineup, Jordan Luplow could be worth a look in deeper leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring. The 27-year-old starts most games in the outfield but is in the lineup at first base tonight. He's batting seventh. In 145 plate appearances this season, Luplow is hitting .161 with a .317 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and an excellent 17.2% walk rate.
