3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk, and an additional run scored during Sunday's 12-8 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He blasted a two-run shot off Paul Frye to give the Rays a 5-2 lead. Meadows and Joey Wendle went back-to-back on consecutive pitches. The 26-year-old is slashing .235/.323/.456 with 22 home runs, 91 RBI, 68 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 505 plate appearances in 2021. Meadows has sat the bench in two of the Rays' last four games but remains a solid option in all league formats after posting a .779 OPS this season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
