3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows isn't starting on Wednesday. Tampa Bay will take on the Boston Red Sox and left-hander Chris Sale but will do so with one of their best hitters on the bench. Meadows is batting .234 with a .321 on-base percentage, 22 home runs, and three stolen bases in 514 plate appearances this season. It'll be Jordan Luplow starting in left field in place of Meadows and batting seventh. Luplow is worth a look as a streaming option on Wednesday, but only in deeper leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring. The 27-year-old is hitting .168 with a .318 on-base percentage and eight home runs in 151 plate appearances this year.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
