4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows (oblique) has been sidelined since Sept. 17 due to a strained left oblique, but as of Friday, he has been able to run the bases and increase his baseball activity. There remains hope that the Rays could include Meadows on their ALDS roster against the Yankees, with the series slated to start Monday. Meadows could take live batting practice Saturday in San Diego, so fantasy managers will want to check back for updates on his status. One of the premier bats in the Tampa Bay order, Meadows will want ample fantasy intrigue should he ultimately get the green light to return to the field.--Jesse Borek
