3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, five RBI and two runs scored in a 9-2 win over the Yankees on Thursday. After opening the season by slashing .218/.340/.425 in the month of April, Meadows has been more than making up for his slow start over his last 15 games, slashing .322/.437/.746 with six homers, one steal, 22 RBI and 14 runs scored. Most of that success has come in his last seven games alone, where he's slashed .440/.548/1.200 with five home runs, one steal, 15 RBI and nine runs scored.
